Elliel is a self-serving mercenary from the North. She's skilled but petty, and despite her confidence, knows when to get the fuck outta there. Nothing is more important than survival and money.
At least she's an honest person.
Laid-back with bouts of mischievousness, this impish playgirl is about to get herself into a whole world of trouble when she agrees to escort a certain spoiled High Elf magician.
I don't know how many of you remember this sketchdump
, but me and Bee decided to recycle a very very old universe I was building back in middle and high school and use the characters from that to inspire us.
I'll be uploading more world concepts hopefully, but the basic idea is a re-imagined high fantasy world, with a focus on diversifying typical fantasy races to include cultural influences that aren't just Medieval Europe.
It's not shown well in El's character sheet, of course, but we'll get to more later down the line!
El is a Northern Elf, one of the two Dark Elf races.
Also known as Jotuns to the Nordic-inspired Dwarves (a name that's permeated through the rest of the world), they're generally your typical high fantasy Drow with a slight Russian influence.
Famous for their mining, detailed wrought iron, and rich ore, the Jotuns are a proud but crude people, with hints of their Elven pompousness.
They're on horrible terms with the Western Elves (also known as High Elves or Naiads), having never let go of a bad blood feud that split the two cultures apart (the Jotuns were chased all the way up north, where they developed a new capital city underground)
Her original design on the left didn't have enough of the Russian influence that I wanted, so I gave her some of the detailed quilting of 18th century clothes on her outer jacket (at least that's what my rough research led me to)
I also wanted her to have a very heavily asymmetrical look to her, not only to augment her archery, but to match her personality.
