an idea ive been working on for the past few days
im really proud of how these turned out...even my parents liked them! 8DDD

but yush, i based each shirt off of one of the 5 Chinese Elements...the front is a random longish design of the element and the back is a stylized version of the Chinese character is corresponds to

-Fire (Passion)-
the design for fire was the least creative but the most natural....there wasnt much for me to do...though i like how the front design looks like a goldfish
-Water (Serenity)-
the water one was actually quite hard to work with....i really wanted to convey the feeling of flow....so i went with very swooshy strokes....i like how the front design looks like a guitar
-Earth (Strength)-
the earth one was inspired by runic designs....ancient rock faces and temples and stuff....i used that circular Chinese coin design since i remember reading about this Asian island tribe that made their currency out of giant boulders...i like how the front design resembles a sword
-Wood (Growth)-
for wood i tried following the grain of trees...it was pretty easy once i decided on that idea.....the front obviously looks like a branch xD;;
-Metal (Inginuity))-
metal is always my favorite element to stylize...there are so many options for it to use....this time i went with gears and high-tech-ish looking designs....i even used the USB symbol at the top of the front design XDD

Duuude these are sooo cool. Even for polos! xD lol I have a friend who really hates polos and if these were real shirts I'd wear them all the time to piss her off~ You could totally get these made and sold at Cafepress! :D
