Chasing the Sun is a fan-project that takes place before the events of Avatar: the Last Airbender. It's a darker story about human trafficking and the world of assassination during a time of war
This is a set of character studies, both of default outfits and body types/diversity. I apologize for semi-nudity, but I don't really think it needs a mature filter
There's no comic (yet), we're just in the for-fun conceptualizing phase and will be for a while

These are my characters, Hari and Jina.
Hari is a wise earth-bender that runs a shelter for victims of human trafficking and the war. He also runs a pottery shop where he gives said refugees a place to rebuild their life. He's a hulking man despite his age, with quite a bit of dark history. He's learned to enjoy life and takes things at a comfortable pace, in fact it seems as if nothing can phase him.
Jina is that spunky old lady that never fails to make you feel motivated and ready to take on a new day. She runs a restaurant and soup kitchen for the refugees. Don't let her tiny stature fool you, she's got a lot of power in those experienced arms. Actually she'll probably kick your ass into next week if you piss her off.
i know it's unbecoming to beg, however, it would be totally crash if you'd maybe do a proportion tutorial for a bunch of different body shapes? it totally sounds like a boring task but it would be priceless for artist like myself who are stuck in a rut when trying to make diverse characters. thanks for just being awesome.

Thanks so much; glad you like them!
